Entrepreneurial Motivation Training For DFP Fellows

Introduction:

Before attending this Module Naveen and Chinnababu has created an eagerness and curiosity in me. The session started with a story of king. With a unique dream,

later all fellows were shifted in to library and we got involved in Treasure hunting Game it was quite interesting and mind blowing to us, then all fellows presented their hunting game, my team got first prize.

In second session we all were involved in the test of creative imagination, by seeing picture for 30secands and based on this we build our own story. Later we wrote on two page wise up of who am I? Than in the Second day was so interesting and we enjoyed a lot by playing ring game. But later we all realized about our actual behavior and hidden potential by critical and constracite feed back by Rita Sengupta.

She used a technique of data analysis to give and understand the person who is she/he? What is she/he? Showing the data she explained every ones later on behavior their actual characteristics. Later on she gave us a motivational profile Questionnaire. She explained by giving an example and stories.

Next day she analysed our story writing by introducing a different language called AI,G+,G-,Fe+,Fe-,N,H,Ach,Bp and Bw.This is one core thing of this three day’s module. If we are able to find out the AI in our story and who am I and in the drama it’s nothing but I am on the right track. After post lunch we all were involved in the tower building game this is too challenging and mind blowing to me. This game made me to realize my mistakes and made us to change and accept others thought and ideas, through this I learnt that

v  I should not set a unrealistic goal.

v  I should listen carefully to other views

v  I should be using my own internal sources

v  I should not be dependent on others view it’s a sign of my handicapped

Through ring game I came to know about myself that I should do a people oriented or something for the sake of other. I should do my own interest and passion. These are all games and activities were analysed by the following strategy or atributs, such as power motivation, Afiliative motivation, achievement motivation, and extention motivation. She made clear about our goal and activities. She gave an opportunity to do one skit, based on the AI.My team has done it very effectively where as other teams has not much effective. We are very clear about the concept whatever she taught us in the class.

Lastly she come up with a business game, this game has a number of terms and conditions with a time limit. This is totally based on our learning of the two day activities. She summarized it in simple and common language by comparing to AI standards.

Thus all fellows were very happy with this module and instruction I am sure that 8o % of the fellow were able to set the goal and action plan. This module will help us in each and every moment to take firm decision and success take firm help.

Rita sengatpna told that what I am today is because of yesterday, what I will be tomorrow is because of today, this really opened my valuable and unsellable internal resources she showed me a right path at the right time to take right direction.

A Small writeup on Logical Framework Analysis

Introduction:

The name of Module itself it made to think logically. It is only one crucial mode to prepare project proposal and approval by the donor/founder. It is prepared by the grand seeker and later sends to all staff, beneficiaries, resource persons and stockholders. It is seems like table but it contents very specific and clear information regarding the project. . It helps to analyze the existing situation during activity preparation and establishes a logical hierarchy for particular issue.

Logical Framework Analysis is very essential tool to planning, managing, evaluation and monitoring. But it never ends itself.Lagical Framework analysis is supports to the grant seeker to focus on the goal and purpose of the project. It increases the accountability, efficiency and loyalty of the organization towards success of the project.

Module Description:

The Module is too difficult to understand and digest easily although the instructor has explained it in simple and systematic way which is understandable by all fellows. He narrated the module by giving live examples and illustrations.Initianly he started explaining the meaning of LFA According Department for International Development (DFID) the Logical Framework as "a tool to help designers of projects think logically about

What the project is trying to achieve (the purpose),

What things the project needs to do to bring that about (the outputs) and

What needs to be done to produce these outputs (the activities)? The three day module has want like more interaction, desiccation, and activities. That made us to understand the actual concept of LFA. We prepared one LFA at the end of module. The log frame isn't intended to show every detail of the project, or to limit the scope of the project. It is simply a convenient, logical summary of the key factors of the project.

Key points of the Module:

  • Define the problem
  • Preparation of the Problem tree
  • Converting in to objective tree
  • Objectively verifiable indicators
  • Means of verification
  • Preparation of the project handy summary for stockholders

What I Learned:

Significant learning of module is that made us to think constructively and logically of the project. I come to know that how difficult it is to get proposal/grant by the donor /founder. I understood that selection of the project and identifying the goal, purpose, out come and activities are led to the success. It enhance the uniformity, tranforancy, and accountability.LFA is reduces the conflict and uncertainty of the organigation.now a day’s (present scenario)all social development organizations/civil society organizations are preferring to the LFA Because it have a more advantages rather than disadvantages and  every one need to learn logical framework analysis.

Ø  ,,   We should treat all the children equally without distinguish and show empathy rather  than sympathy

Ø          We should stop labeling as a disable and consider them as normal human beings
How to take care and teach them
Even mentally challenged children can  contribute to the society and become self reliant
We should be dedicated to work  towards them.   One who has working with mental retarded         children’s should have dedicate his / her whole life       for the welfare of children.
